I would guess that if there is a correlation between aggression, dominance, extraversion and intelligence it is a negative one. This is probably due to a mixture of nature and nurture. For women this does not make a large difference, for men it is catastrophic. So for men there may be a negative correlation between attractiveness and intelligence (because women chose mostly on social dominance not looks). On PUAs: I would guess that majority were not part of the popular groups. The are probably mostly made up of the smart types described above. That is above average IQ but lacking one of more of aggression, dominance, or extraversion. They are smart enough to recognize what women react to and realize that it is not IQ. They realize that mild sociopathy works far better than smart and orderly. The “naturals”, the men who were gifted with aggression, dominance, or extraversion may well act as PUAs but would never consider themselves such because it is just how they live their lives. They are less likely to post on the Internet or join lairs. Why would they? They never had to consider pickup because their natural born traits of aggression, dominance, extraversion, and sociopathy work for them with little thought needed.
